Metabolic Health Coach Marc Bates Exposes Healthcare's Systematic Suppression of Nutritional Medicine

By Marc Bates

Metabolic health coach Marc Bates has released a new YouTube video documenting how medical institutions actively punish physicians who successfully reverse chronic diseases through nutritional interventions rather than pharmaceutical management.

The investigation reveals that doctors like Australian orthopedic surgeon Gary Fettke face professional retaliation for helping patients avoid amputations through low-carb dietary recommendations. Fettke was formally banned by regulatory authorities in 2016 from providing nutritional advice to patients despite clinical evidence of disease reversal.

"The closer a doctor gets to reversing disease through diet, the more disruptive they become to systems that monetize maintenance," Bates explains in the video. "Healing isn't profitable, but maintenance is."

The content exposes how medical education provides fewer than 20 hours of nutrition training, leaving physicians unprepared to address dietary factors in chronic disease management. Meanwhile, pharmaceutical and processed food industries fund medical schools, journals, and policy groups to preserve revenue streams from ongoing treatment protocols.

Professor Tim Noakes faced a four-year trial with South African medical authorities simply for tweeting that low-carb diets benefit breastfeeding mothers. The complaint originated from a registered dietitian despite Noakes' decades of sports medicine expertise.

Bates identifies emerging cracks in the system as more patients share transformation stories and independent researchers challenge flawed nutritional methodologies. The video series aims to empower individuals to take control of their metabolic health through evidence-based dietary approaches.
