Metabolic Health Expert Exposes D-Lactate Research as Manufactured Health Problem

By Marc Bates

A metabolic health coach has revealed concerning evidence that a recent D-lactate study represents a deliberate attempt to create health problems in order to sell supplement solutions. The analysis exposes multiple red flags in research methodology and financial conflicts of interest.

Marc Bates' YouTube video investigation identified three critical warning signs in the D-lactate research. The study was published as a paid article rather than peer-reviewed research, creating immediate questions about scientific integrity.

"First, it was an article which typically means it was a paid article. Two, it was a conflict of interest between the authors because they actually owned the patent that they were talking about in the article," the metabolic health expert explained.

The most revealing aspect involved the researchers' marketing approach. The study advertisement claimed D-lactate causes metabolic problems like type 2 diabetes, then immediately offered their patented polymer solution for purchase.

"It was an ad saying, new research study finds that D-lactate helps cause all kinds of metabolic problems like type 2 diabetes and not just glucose and stuff in the blood. And at the bottom of the ad they said, oh, by the way, you can order a polymer that traps it," the expert noted.

The scientific analysis reveals D-lactate operates at micromolar concentrations while true metabolic disease drivers like insulin and glucose function at millimolar levels. This represents a 10x, to 100x fold difference in biological significance.

The expert is producing detailed critiques of the study to educate consumers about manufactured health problems and questionable research practices in metabolic health.
